Safety

Safety at BECK is a key underlying principle in how we do work. The Company will provide, maintain and operate in a safe and innocuous environment for all employees, clients and public. We are committed to providing safe working equipment, necessary personnel protection and a daily health and safety review for each drilling event.

BECK Drilling is dedicated to the continuous improvement of our operations through the ongoing development and application of new technologies, practices and procedures. Our corporate culture encourages our employees to continue to develop their skills, knowledge and expertise with an emphasis on safety. BECK has successfully implemented an employee training and mentoring program that is completed by each employee. BECK is committed to providing employees with the safety and job specific training required for their work. The training program consists of a combination of in-house orientation and training and contracted industry training. Courses offered to our employees include, but are not limited to:

• First Aid
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
• H2S Alive!

Additional course training includes:
• Ground disturbance
• OSHA 40-hour Management of Hazardous Sites
• Confined Space Entry
• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS)
• First Line BOP (Blow Out Prevention)

Certificate of Recognition
BECK has been issued a certificate of recognition (COR). As part of the program, the safety program is audited internally every year and every third year by an independent third party auditor. A copy of our current COR is attached.
